We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) that will act as a critical right hand to the COO, facilitating smooth operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring that long-term financial and operational goals are met. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in operations management, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for mental health.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week working in our Manhattan office.
What you’ll be doing:
- Strategic Partner: Collaborate closely with the COO to define and prioritize business strategies, goals, and objectives. Act as a trusted advisor and sounding board for the COO.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily team operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. Identify and address potential issues that could impact operational success. Own OKR setting and management across the operations team to ensure the team is working in sync. Helping to develop and maintain operational rhythms and cadence across the team.
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage key projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Coordinate across the operations org and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Communication and Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for the COO, facilitating communication across departments and ensuring that the COO’s directives are implemented effectively.
- Financial Oversight: Work with the COO and finance team to monitor and analyze financial performance. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to achieve long-term financial objectives.
- KPI Management: Own weekly, monthly, quarterly business review process to ensure we have proper oversight on performance and opportunities
- Team Development: Support the development and growth of the operations team. Mentor and guide team members to enhance their skills and career progression.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements and efficiencies. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making processes. Provide insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis of operational and financial data.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Represent the COO in meetings and communications as needed.
