Job Description

You will be part of our dynamic SEO team, facing diverse challenges. We always keep in mind both users’ and crawlers’ experience: from web performance and core web vitals towards url navigation and crawlability, while also considering which urls we index and provide to both types of users. We use Agile methodologies, are driven towards results, experiment often and fail fast. Our environment is cross functional: we collaborate with local and global teams, and with colleagues in different roles.

• You will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces for our web applications 
• You will ensure that the web applications are optimised for search engine ranking
• You will develop our web applications, using development tooling, for example Webpack, Jest, React Testing Library and Storybook. 
• You will work in our development and deployment environments that includes tools such as Github and Github Actions, Jenkins, Datadog and AWS
• You will support our Agile development process and join in improving it
• You will have access to various SEO tools where we analyse website traffic, keyword rankings and the impact of our work

Qualifications

Who you are

• You have 5+ years of experience in front-end web development, including experience working in cross-functional teams. 
• You have expertise in HTML, CSS, Sass, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and React, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in front-end web development.
• You are driven, and you focus on delivering results.
• You are open to continuous learning and are dedicated to Agile development. 
• You value collaboration with global and local teams.
• You have excellent communication skills and are able to effectively explain technical details to colleagues with varying levels of technical knowledge. 
• Previous experience working on SEO related topics, crawling engines or page performance is a plus.
• You are an enthusiast on how we can leverage A.I. to provide a better experience both to users and search engine crawlers.

You have to be currently resident of the Netherlands and entitled to work here (EU citizen, in possession of VISA, residence permit etc.)!
