Dewberry is currently seeking a Program Manager for our Geospatial and Technology Services Group in Tampa, FL. This position requires managing clients and business development for medium to large GIS/IT and Remote Sensing-related projects for state, federal, local and commercial clients across the US, with a focus on leading our remote sensing and mapping production operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage proposals, budgets, schedules, billings, and contracts.
  • Lead and oversee large federal and state IDIQ contracts.
  • Hiring, training, and supervising staff
  • Familiar topobathymetric lidar technology and services.
  • Support Business Development for geospatial, solutions, and analytics, and remote sensing services, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Focus on opportunities and build client relationships across US.
  • Develop and conduct presentations to clients and other critical stakeholders.
  • Effectively interface with sub-consultants and any other business relationships associated with projects.BS/BA in applicable field. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Extensive experience managing projects and clients related to remote sensing, GIS Information Systems, database/web programming and services, GIS Application development.
  • Working knowledge of Remote Sensing technology, especially airborne mapping.
  • Experience in managing projects for federal, state, local and commercial clients.
  • Effectively communicate production status with management to collaboratively improve performance.
  • Technology and process improvement. Reviews best practices to drive more automation, gain efficiencies, and improve quality.
  • Performing problem resolution, task management, collaborating with multiple teams.
  • The ability to market related services and to present our services to both internal and external clients is critical to the success of the individual in this position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work within a team environment.
  • Currently hold an active secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Travel when necessary to client sites or other Dewberry offices.
