Assist with Drainage District projects as an experienced Dump Truck Driver/Traffic Control Flagger.  Position requires driving a dump truck, flagger for traffic control, and may operate equipment to assist with maintaining drainage channels.

2 Positions are available.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drives a dump truck off road and is a flagger for traffic control to ensure a safe work zone.
  • May operate equipment to assist with drainage channel maintenance.
  • Responsible for abiding by all traffic laws.
  • Assists other employees with their duties, performs shop duties and/or other duties as assigned.
  • Held accountable for equipment used.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • One-year job related work experience. 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public and other employees.  
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions and complete assignments in a timely fashion.    
  • Must have Texas Drivers License, excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.

STARTING SALARY: $16.20 per hour, Up to 40 hours per week

CLOSING DATE: Upon filling 2 positions
