OUR IMPACT
The Goldman Sachs Benefits and Wellness team delivers programs to enhance the health, wellness and performance of our people and to support them and their families.
The Benefits and Wellness Analytics Associate plays an important role in managing and identifying trends in benefits and wellness data, providing business insights to our stakeholders and our function. This role will also oversee select Benefits and Wellness policies and program vendor relationships.
JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage global Benefits and Wellness analytics initiatives
- Oversee data collection, analysis and reporting across Benefits & Wellness teams and vendors globally
- Project manage global analytics initiatives
- Manage work output and daily operational oversight of two data analysts
- Develop process and reporting efficiencies
- Collaborate with the team / stakeholders to understand data needs and provide analytical support
- Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage requests for data from stakeholders including HCM leadership, divisional teams, business partners and broader employee population
- Manage both ongoing analytics initiatives as well as ad hoc requests
- Support oversight of firm’s global Benefits and Wellness policies
- Educate and provide guidance on various policies, e.g. leaves of absence
- Manage inquiries and requests from the business regarding application of policies
- Support global benchmarking and policy reviews
- Support overall administration of various Benefits and Wellness programs
- Manage relationship with key Benefits and Wellness program vendors (e.g., oversee program design, policies, implementation, budgeting, contracting and on-going delivery)
- Partner with internal stakeholders including legal, tax, procurement and communications teams to accomplish ongoing tasks and approvals as required
- Manage escalated employee issues
- Assist with vendor management tech risk activities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of experience in data analytics with proficiency in data analysis techniques.
- Expert in Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to function as part of a global team in a fast-paced environment that demands energy, creativity, and collaboration
- Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, as well as ability to drive process
- Highly organized, attention to detail and excellent follow-through required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with applicable data privacy regulations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, economics, finance, data science, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of employee benefits and wellness programs, and /or population health
