Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative data strategies and frameworks, driving data-driven decision-making and organizational learning
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to other Data Scientists and Analysts, fostering a culture of data literacy and collaboration across the organization
- Lead the design and implementation of complex data collection, storage, and retrieval processes, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility for analysis and reporting
- Conduct advanced data analysis and modeling, using cutting-edge statistical techniques, data mining, and machine learning algorithms to uncover hidden patterns, trends, and correlations within large data sets
- Develop predictive models, conduct simulations, and perform statistical analysis to provide actionable insights that drive strategic initiatives, optimize program performance, and support informed decision-making
- Create sophisticated reports, dashboards, and visualizations to effectively communicate complex data findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Contribute to the data science community through publications, presentations, and participation in industry events, sharing knowledge and expertise to advance the field
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 12 years of experience OR a Master’s degree and 10 years of experience or a PhD and 8 years of experience
- HS Diploma and 4 years of additional experience or Associate’s degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor’s degree
- Expert-level understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques, including deep learning and natural language processing.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., Python with pandas, scikit-learn, R, SQL), including experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Extensive experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and techniques, including the ability to create compell
