Job Purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven individual to join as an Advanced Inverter Systems Engineer Intern.  The Advanced Inverter Systems Engineer Intern will be involved with evaluation and testing of a next generation traction inverter including the power module, power supplies, and monitoring circuits among others.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware testing & verification
• Collaborate with Systems, Mechanical and Software teams in problem solving activities
• Perform simulation and analysis of Power Electronics circuit blocks

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering student preferred
• Strong hardware design and analytical skills
• Experience designing high voltage circuits and power supplies
• Experience with high voltage testing is preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• Strong interpersonal skills required
