Job Description
The Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting the Chief Credit Officer and is primarily responsible for performing a variety of routine and complex clerical, administrative, and analytical duties. This position may also provide high level administrative support to other Senior Leadership within the Credit Administration line of business (LOB) and the Bank.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with various LOB leaders to collect and maintain data used for loan Charge Offs, Nonaccrual and OREO recommendations; Follow loan policies to ensure information is up to date and execute monthly reviews.
- Partner with the Finance department to ensure Consumer and Commercial charge-offs are balanced to the GL accounts and complete quarterly FRB reports.
- Provides data and supporting information for any internal and external audit requests.
- Responsible for monthly reports to review loans secured by stock; Work with multiple partners to ensure accuracy of information and provide quarterly reports to the Finance department.
- Responsible for composing, maintaining, and reviewing presentation materials, reports, and spreadsheets for a variety of Bank and Holding Company level meetings. Must operate with a high degree of detail orientation as materials will be presented at the top level of the organization.
- Manage multiple projects to support LOB goals and/or community/Market matters. Assignments will often include confidential material and the position must act with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Represent the LOB with a high level of professionalism and tact with all internal and external clients via email, calls, meetings, Bank and Market events.
- Organize and oversee LOB meetings and events. May represent the Bank at various community/market events.
- At times, will conduct research, provide analysis, interpret data and report on findings.
- Ensure the maintenance of confidential information to protect the Bank and Bank customers.
- Ability to make mature and sound decisions to address business needs.
- Provide critical feedback on policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and/or customers.
- May provide a broad variety of administrative duties to include calendar management, arranging travel, completing expense records and reports, and complex data entry. Will receive internal and external calls and emails and must be able to answer or direct question to appropriate party.
- Provides high level support and participates extensively during M&A process.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of professional working experience in the Banking, finance or related industry is required. Direct experience in Credit Administration is preferred.
- Additional years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience providing administrative support at the Executive or Director level is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability of high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to anticipate manager or departmental needs.
- Ability to provide strong customer service while protecting bank interests.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with all levels of staff including Executive Management and key bank clients.
