Job Title: Senior Cyber Engineer

Position Summary:
Everfox is one of the world’s largest private cybersecurity companies. As a Cyber Security Engineer at Everfox, you will be joining our professional services engineering team. The work is dynamic, challenging, and supports multiple customers simultaneously. Supporting multiple customer environments will require you to troubleshoot and resolve a wide variety of issues independently. While you’ll have reach back to other engineering staff, you’ll be expected to be a self-starter and multitask, while still communicating effectively with customer and engineering management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience providing administrator or SME level support for endpoint security solutions, such as HBSS, Tanium, CrowdStrike, etc.
What You'll be Doing:

Installing, maintaining, upgrading/patching, and troubleshooting Windows or RHEL servers used by Everfox products in physical and virtualized environments.
Creating, maintaining, upgrading/patching, and troubleshooting ESXi or Hyper-V hosted virtual machines.
Installing firmware updates on physical hardware components, such DellEMC or HPE servers, SANs, switches, etc.
Regularly checking the health and performance of Kubernetes clusters to ensure they are operating optimally. Use monitoring tools like Grafana to track system metrics
Analyze logs to preemptively address potential issues before they escalate into problems.
Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize endpoint security solutions, ensuring effective policy configuration and system performance.
Acting as a key technical advisor to field engineers. We are expected to engage with helpdesk and development teams to tackle and document any issues or bugs found in products onsite.
Reviewing, applying, and remediating security vulnerabilities or security controls based on STIG guidance or scanning reports.
Our role involves interfacing with various organizations to meet unique customer requirements. From collaborating closely with staff, which could entail multiple government contractors or subcontractors. We work to address issues and product tuning in diverse customer environments.
Communicating with customers and Everfox management daily, providing detailed summaries of activities along with in-depth trip reports where applicable.
Traveling to customer locations in the local DMV area and up to 25% travel outside the DMV.

Things You Must Have to Apply:
An active (currently in use) – TS with SCI or SCI eligibility within two years from last use. CI poly a Plus
Ability to lift equipment for 2 person equipment installation and removal.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
At least one DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification at IAT level II (2) or higher.
The ability to obtain the appropriate work authorizations that may be required under U.S. ITAR or EAR regulations from the applicable U.S government agency.
4+ years of experience in a cyber engineer role supporting enterprise software solutions.
