As a Senior Manager - Payroll Tax Accounting, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the maintenance and oversight of our payroll trust accounting processes. Your attention to detail, organizational prowess, and commitment to timely project delivery will play a vital role in leading and keeping our operations running smoothly. In this role you will:

Overseeing team processes for balancing all customer funds and Payroll Services transactions
Designing or creating new AR, AP, and OOB reports, scoping and monitoring team capacity to be adjusted or improved
Assessing risks and controls related to Trust Accounting and determining if controls are effective. Adding new controls where needed to protect customer funds, BHR and to meet audit expectations
Ensuring the team is ready for and passes all audits
Publishing monthly Trust Accounting dashboard to Payroll and BHR Leadership
Work to identify gaps or issues with existing bank reconciliation or transaction reporting (ledger) and working with Product to build a solid solution that will support all transaction types and customer growth
Establish or update team processes for balancing all customer funds and Payroll Services transactions
Establish goals and metrics to measure the success of the team
Have compensation and career advancement discussions with teams
Help other groups recognize their touchpoints with the client and the impact that has on their experience.
Motive people and teams to pull together and accomplish tasks. Facilitates connections across teams, shares executive vision, and provides feedback for great work to take place.
Lead and be responsible for resource planning. Fiscally minded and careful with human capital. Looks to maximize return and maintain morale.
Help to grow key talent to other areas of CX or for leadership
Hiring/firing and improvement plans for reps that are performing below standards
Final interviews for all department hires

What You Need to Get the Job Done

5+ years of experience in high growth Payroll Services operations
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Master’s degree preferred
Great skills at leading high-performing operational teams and building relationships across departments
Thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Passionate about BHR values
Has shown the ability to work well with people through work on projects, mentoring and/or training others
Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
