Job Title: Patient Financial Services Team Lead
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Hybrid, requiring 2 to 3 days in the office
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Patient Financial Services Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of our patient financial services team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient management of collection activities and maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the patient financial services team.
- Ensure effective management of collection activities and phone metrics.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and team members.
- Motivate and guide team members to meet and exceed departmental goals.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in patient financial services, medical billing, or collections.
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience is required.
- Strong understanding of healthcare billing and collections software, processes, and regulations.
- Experience in call center settings is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
