Pay Range
$112,100.00-$168,100.00 AnnualThis is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
The purpose of the Senior IT Project Manager's role is to independently manage large operational and strategic cross functional projects. This includes planning, executing, and overseeing projects within scope, schedule and financials throughout the project’s lifecycle. The Senior IT Project Manager will run the project on a day-to-day basis, will make sure that the project produces the required deliverables within the expected time, quality and cost assumptions to achieve the desired results. The Senior IT Project Manager will also be responsible for handling issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on time project delivery.
This position is located at our World Headquarters in Denver, CO. We operate on a hybrid work schedule which requires 3 days of in office work and there are 2 days remote.

Your Day-to-Day:
- Manages several complex cross functional projects concurrently
- Full project life cycle ownership for initiation through closeout and support
- Provide timely and effective project status updates
- Determine the appropriate types of resources needed for the project based on the approved scope
- Manage any outside consultants assigned to the project
- Develop the detailed Project Schedule identifying key tasks, timing, dependencies and assignment of resources to tasks
- Develop, manage and track the approved project budget
- Evaluate schedule and determine the current state of the project with recommendations and recovery plans when needed
- Delegate new tasks/assignments, track and update action items, risks and issues, facilitate project status meeting and create the weekly status report
- Schedule and facilitate Gate Review meetings and gain approval from all stakeholders allowing for movement from one phase of a project to another
- Manage all aspects of testing including the creation of the Test Plan and Test Cases, management of all phases of testing, tracking defects and remediation of those defects, facilitating testing status meeting and communication of the status of testing
- Manage all aspects of a project go-live including development of the cutover or implementation plan, support plan and managing all defects and issues that occur at go live
- Close out all aspects of a project including closing out all tasks, ensuring all open issues have been accounted for, ensuring all action items are complete, closing out the budget, facilitating the Lesson's Learned session and documenting the output
- Effectively communicate with superiors, team members, clients, and other stakeholders
- Participate in establishing PMO practices, templates, policies and tools
- Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project and or junior project managers
- May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years' experience managing large complex projects
- Managed at least 2-3 cyber security, network or technical infrastructure projects
- Extensive experience with project management practices and procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT technical concepts, principles and terminology
- Excellent project management skills including planning, execution, control, budgeting, organization and time management
