This position provides strategic leadership across Market Design, Market Operations, Grid Operations, Market Mitigation and Analysis, Information Technology, System &amp; Resource Planning, and Product and Project Management to advance NYISO’s strategic initiatives and long-term market vision.</p> <p>The Senior Manager leads the development and evolution of market technology solutions, oversees preliminary and feasibility simulation studies for future market products, and ensures market applications remain functional and aligned with market rules and reliability criteria. The role also directs projects that build upon the Energy Market System and Business Market System to support emerging resource technologies and New York State renewable integration objectives.</p> <p>The position provides leadership for day-ahead and real-time energy market engineering support, production issue resolution, vendor and consultant engagement, implementation readiness, testing coordination, external research engagements, and ongoing technical support for market software and market participant inquiries.</p> <p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide strategic leadership for Market Solutions Engineering and Market Research and Engineering teams, including research, prototype development, market technology strategy, implementation support, production support, and long-term market solution planning.</li> <li>Lead collaboration with Market Design, Project and Product Management, Information Technology, Operations, Grid Operations, Market Mitigation and Analysis, System &amp; Resource Planning, and other business areas through the full project lifecycle, from market design and requirements development through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.</li> <li>Direct engagement with vendors and consultants supporting NY
