International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) is offering a rewarding experience to bright, talented, business-minded, determined person.  

We have an assignment at the Gibson City, Illinois plant, that manufactures soybean meal for animal feed and soybean oil which is sold for further refining into oil for human consumption or into the burgeoning renewable fuels industry. The opportunity will allow a person to gain valuable experience in the logistics and marketing environments. 

In Commodity Marketing, you will have opportunities to do the following: 

 

• Be very hands on with daily trading and logistics activities.
• Develop an understanding of risk and inventory management.
• Develop an understanding of IFF Strategic Business Units and Operations, product offerings and how materials, service requirements and issues are managed.
• Adopt and follow IFF's values of empowerment, expertise, integrity, innovation and responsibility both on a personal and business level. 
   

Job Requirements

 

The following requirements needed for consideration: 

 

• Have experience in agriculture, business, or logistics/supply chain management. 
• Use of Agris computer system a plus.
• Customer Service experience a plus.

• Outstanding problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal/writing communication and presentation skills.
• Accomplished computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and database experience.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to multitask and to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously.
