The ideal candidate has deep expertise across supply chain development and will leverage their best practices and management experience to build/lead a high performing team. This role will report directly to the VP of Operations.

What You'll Do

• Engage and own the commercial relationship with our key commodity suppliers
• component distributors.
• Build, Lead and develop a high functioning team responsible for Strategic Sourcing.
• Key Commodity Management.
• Responsible for cost negotiations, continuity of supply/service, and risk management.
• Coordinate quarterly supplier technology/product roadmap reviews.
• Negotiate Long Term Agreements “LTA” to ensure long range continuity of supply
• Drive operational and cost efficiencies through process or design change.
• Thrive in a rapidly changing environment and constantly drive excellence across their
• own responsibilities and that of team members and partners.
• Leverage cross-functional, internal relationships to effectively collaborate with
• stakeholders. Make smart decisions with the information available, think and stay
• focused under pressure.
• Scale new and existing supply partners and execute creative and strategic commercial
• deals to achieve goals around total cost, supply, quality.
• Identify new technology solutions and services to enable the next generation road map
• for software & flight automation (including software, data, professional services).
