As part of LM's overall strategic Business Transformation and Systems Modernization (BTSM) initiative this position will be part of a team responsible for preparing a Business Area workforce for a successful transformational implementation that includes new systems and processes.

This intern role will support efforts in defining future state policies within the Lockheed Martin command media. Responsibilities includes, but not limited to:
• Ensuring the intent of the process defined is accurately defined in the command media document.
• Collecting and incorporating stakeholder feedback, provided it aligns with enterprise vision and goals.
• Participating in communication strategy and implementation to ensure smooth rollout and adoption of new policies.
• Supporting the training lead in creating and evaluating training content to ensure a thorough understanding of new policies and processes.
• Triage questions from the business area regarding future state processes and systems, providing accurate and timely responses.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to implement the policies and communications that were defined in our detail design phase. Critical partnerships include (but are not limited to) the following:
• 1LMX Value Stream Team Members
• 1LMX Value Stream Business Area Representatives (VSBARs)
• Other Business Area interactions
• 1LMX Value Stream Leadership

The intern should be able to work part-time throughout the academic year and full-time during the summer months, remotely. The successful candidate should be a forward-thinking, process-oriented individual with a commitment to continuous improvement. They should possess strong attention to detail, be well-organized, and open-minded. A resourceful self-starter attitude is essential, as is the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment. The candidate should be proactive, comfortable working independently, and able to manage their workload effectively.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in business, finance, economics or related field
• Demonstrated previous experience performing business-related tasks (experience can be obtained through college coursework/projects, internships or on the job)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word
• Strong writing and proofreading skills
• US Citizenship required due to system access
