Job Purpose:
To further Sony Music Publishing’s place, leadership, and expertise in the Music Publishing Industry.
What You’ll Do:
Cue sheet review, maintaining ongoing episodic series and song entry
Assist with the distribution of cue sheets to US PROs and affiliate offices.
Assist with the coordination of cue sheet deliveries between the studio clients and Film and TV Copyright Staff.
Analyze music cue sheets for registration, distribution, and royalty processing requirements.
Fielding and investigating cue sheet requests from affiliate offices or PROs
Assist department staff with special projects and other duties as assigned
Document imaging, including but not limited to agreements, cue sheets, and correspondence.
Provide regular task status report to the supervisor
Commercial/Jingle registration with US PROs.
Who You Are:
Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy while handling multiple tasks
Ability to manage and prioritize a large volume of work
Ability to prioritize and complete all tasks in the allotted time frame
Ability to set their own goals, while working within departmental goals
Computer systems literate – proficiency in the use of MS Word and Excel
An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members.
Able to adapt quickly to a changing environment with minimal disruption
Demonstrable knowledge and experience in music publishing administration.
You are able to draw conclusions from data and propose effective solutions
Must be authorized to work in the United States
