You are...    a problem-solver with business acumen, a professional skilled in HCM and payroll systems, and a detail-oriented and deadline-driven individual proficient in Excel.As HR Generalist for payroll and benefits, you are a key member of the HR team, focused on payroll and benefits processing for the entire organization. This role is located at our US Headquarters in Ashland, VA. 

The base salary range for this position is $70,000/year to $80,000/year. We offer full benefits, a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities include:

• Process bi-weekly payroll including timesheet processing, payroll submission, general ledger entry
• Performs a  tasks including workforce planning, employee transfer
• Participate in the onboarding of new employees 
• Manage AAP/EEO and other reporting requirements
• Manages and supports benefits enrollment process, open enrollment meetings and employee questions

Skills and qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, preferably with additional SHRM certificate.
• 2 years of experience in an HR Generalist role including payroll
• Ability to build consensus and apply good business understanding
• Excellent time management, prioritizing and organizational skills are essential
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
