Role Description

The Head of FP&A will own the planning and analytical backbone of the organization. You’ll be responsible for managing company-wide financial forecasting, modeling, business insights, and reporting. This role will be a key strategic partner to executive leadership and department heads, helping guide decision-making through data, scenario analysis, and deep financial insights. Ideal candidates will bring a strong foundation in FP&A, a passion for crypto and fintech innovation, and experience operating in dynamic, high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• FP&A Ownership: Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.   

• Financial Statement Modeling: Develop and maintain integrated models across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

• Financial Performance Forecasting: Accurately forecast performance at a company and business line level; maintain dashboards for visibility.

• Reporting:  Collaborate closely with accounting to ensure alignment of actual results and forecasts, and to support month-end close and financial reporting.

• Business Insights & KPI’s: Deliver timely and actionable insights for strategic decisions through variance analyses, scenario modeling, and KPI tracking.

• Strategic Analysis: Build and maintain financial models to support key business decisions, pricing, investments, and expansion into new areas of growth.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with departments teams to ensure accurate headcount planning, financial alignment, and efficient resource allocation.

• Finance & Systems Infrastructure: Implement and maintain scalable financial tools and systems for forecasting, reporting, and operations.

• Corporate Finance Initiatives: Support tax planning, audit, corporate development, and fundraising initiatives.

• Board & Investor Communication: Prepare board decks and investor updates with deep financial insights and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, or strategic finance roles; experience in fintech or crypto strongly preferred.

• Proven ability to lead complex financial planning efforts in fast-paced, high-growth companies.

• Strong leadership and communication skills to drive cross-functional initiatives and manage a growing FP&A team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with BI tools  and planning software.

• Experience with crypto finance and inventory tracking tools is a plus.

• Deep understanding of modern fintech and crypto trends, business models, and operational metrics.
