PayPal, Inc. seeks Manager, Product Management 1 - Tech in Austin, TX

Job Duties: Develop and administer a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and user needs, ensuring the delivery of impactful solutions. Evaluate and refine the product by leveraging data-driven insights to inform decisions, identify trends, and measure performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and prioritize and execute initiatives to deliver high-performing, scalable, and reliable developer infrastructure products. Enable self-service capabilities, accelerate feature development, and improve the overall pace of product delivery, ensuring that developers and stakeholders experience a seamless and efficient platform. Define and track key performance metrics to assess the success of features and articulate the platform’s value to internal and external stakeholders. Foster alignment and effective communication across a diverse network of customers, partners, and teams. Understand the needs of developers, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape, and craft strategies that ensure the platform remains user-centric and ahead of the competition. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

1. Experience extracting, cleaning, and interpreting data to uncover insights and support data-driven decision-making (3 years).

2. Experience designing and documenting APIs to facilitate seamless communication between systems, including RESTful API principles and usability (3 years).

3. Experience using Git for version control, managing code repositories, and collaborating with teams on software development projects (3 years).

4. Experience applying Agile methodologies to manage iterative development processes, ensuring continuous delivery of value (2 years).

5. Experience utilizing Jira to manage tasks, track project progress, and facilitate collaboration across Agile teams (2 years).

6. Experience implementing Scrum frameworks, including running sprints, managing backlogs, and facilitating daily stand-ups (2 years).

7. Experience using Kanban boards to visualize workflows, manage work in progress, and improve process efficiency (2 years).
