Job Overview

The College of Nursing is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist Principal Investigator Dr. Randi Bates with her research study. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate day-to-day project logistics on a multi-site five-year project focused on young children’s sleep. The incumbent will manage and conduct all activities under the supervision of the PI and in accordance with all IRB and human subjects research standards across multiple institutions. This role will be based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Significant regional field work consisting primarily of regular site visits to organizations serving children, home visits to study participants, and management of research and laboratory materials at the University of Cincinnati will be required. This position is full-time,100% FTE and is fully grant funded. This position is expected to end on June 30, 2029. The position will be reviewed annually based on performance and funding.

Essential Functions

• Maintain recruiting and scheduling research subjects; assist with developing or amending study protocols; assist with developing data collection tools; assist with building databases; and provide general administrative support 
• serve as a primary point of contact for current and future research study participants 
• maintain records of all communication efforts 
• supervise recruitment and data collection 
• lead and assess the quality of all fieldwork 
• ensures quality of data collection and adherence to best practices 
• administer both caregiver and child measures and assessments.
• ensures ongoing and new research participants are onboarded properly and promptly 
• provides implementation support, coaching, and training to study participants, ensuring that study activities are delivered with fidelity and that technical or material support is available promptly 
• provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and on-call technical and implementation support to study participants, ensuring proper implementation and delivery of research in accordance with study protocol
• distribute technology and assists with inventory management, coordination, and delivery logistics for technological devices and other materials provided to study sites and participants. Store materials at secure locations at the University of Cincinnati.
