Job Summary:

The SAP Sales Order and BOM Entry Specialist will be responsible for uploading, maintaining, and updating Bill of Materials (BOM) data within the SAP system to support manufacturing, production planning, accounting, and inventory management processes.

This role will also be responsible for accurately entering, processing, and managing sales orders within the SAP system. This position will ensure seamless order fulfillment by collaborating with sales, customer service, and logistics teams, while maintaining data integrity and adhering to company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, proficiency in SAP, and an understanding of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Entry and Maintenance: Input and update BOM data in SAP (Production, WBS and routings) based on engineering specifications, blueprints, or product requirements.
• BOM Updates: Modify existing BOMs to reflect design changes, component substitutions, or production adjustments, maintaining version control and documentation.
• Data Verification: Validate BOM entries for accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Verify order information against purchase orders, customer agreements, or sales quotes to ensure consistency and compliance with terms.
• Collaboration: Work with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to gather necessary information and resolve discrepancies in BOM data. Work closely with sales representatives, warehouse staff, and finance teams to ensure smooth order-to-delivery processes.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of BOM changes and updates, ensuring traceability and audit readiness. Maintain accurate records of sales orders, including generating invoices, shipping documents, or credit memos within SAP.
• System Support: Assist in troubleshooting SAP-related issues tied to BOM data and escalate complex problems to SAP support teams.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline BOM entry processes and improve data integrity within the SAP system.
• Reporting: Generate and review BOM-related reports to support production planning inventory management, and cost estimation. Generate basic reports from SAP to support sales and management teams in tracking order performa
