Duties and Responsibilities

This is an independent and responsible position that provides support and assistance for FDOH-SJC HIV/AIDS program.
Supervises and monitors client incentive and assistance programs. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Managing all client incentive and assistance processes for the HIV/AIDS program
- Overseeing the tracking of items dispersed
- Processing of any assistance program applications
- Collaborating with Finance and Accounting on documentation and reporting
- Establishing and reviewing procedures and completing updates as needed
Coordinates and manages quality assurance and quality improvement (QA/QI) projects for the HIV/AIDS program. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with the Government Operations Consultant III on projects and deliverables
- Documenting the projects accordingly
- Collecting and documenting client feedback necessary for QA/QI
- Monitoring and coordinating progress of the projects
- Coordinating project responsibilities and monitoring completion
- Working with the Public Health Services Manager to ensure proper completion of projects
Supervises and monitors the HIV/AIDS program income. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Documenting and tracking program income and expenditures as necessary
- Facilitating processes and purchases to properly utilize program income
- Completing appropriate and necessary reports and tracking systems to ensure program income and expenditures are meeting guidelines and standards
- Working with Finance and Accounting on program income expenditures
- Collaborating with Finance and Accounting, the Executive Community Health Nursing Director and the Government Operations Consultant III on budgeting, budget monitoring throughout program and fiscal years and expending funds related to program income
Completes programmatic tasks that include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring the referral tracker and working with HIV/AIDS team to ensure completion of the tracker
- Monitoring and processing faxes and emails
- Working with the Health Education team and the Government Operations Consultant III on HIV/AIDS related outreach events
- Assisting with and participating in community outreach events as necessary
- Collaborating with staff in the coordination of the Consumer Advisory Board meetings, as needed
- Working with the Executive Community Health Nursing Director, the Government Operations Consultant III and Finance and Accounting on Memorandums of Agreement/Understanding
- Supporting Ryan White Part C funding requirements, reports and deliverables
- Supporting the scheduling of appointments and securing insurance authorizations as needed
- Assisting with medical records requests and follow up of such requests
Performs other duties as assigned.
