What you'll do

Our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across Docusign. The team consists of Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Revenue Operations, Investor Relations, and Business Operations. The Finance team partners across all organizations in Docusign to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans.

 

As a key member of the Go-to-Market (GTM) FP&A team, this person will be the finance business partner to our Customer Support teams by performing financial analysis and modeling, preparing the financial plans and budgets, as well as analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial information to leadership. In addition, this person will support Global Customer Success Reporting, providing valuable insight to our leadership team.

 

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, FP&A.

 

Responsibility

  • Act as the primary finance partner to the Customer Support teams

  • Support Customer Success financial reporting and partner with Customer Success to develop value-add dashboards that enhance reporting efficiency for the team and business partners

  • Build deep business partner relationships across the organization by establishing trust and gaining an understanding of relevant business drivers

  • Develop financial models to streamline decision-making and highlight key drivers of past, current and future business performance

  • Own annual budgeting, monthly close, and forecast processes inclusive of headcount, accruals, and discretionary spend

  • Create presentations, reports and dashboards to advise senior leadership on the financial performance of their teams and provide guidance on opportunities and risks

  • Undertake ad hoc strategic projects

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in finance with emphasis on budgeting, forecasting, planning, analysis, and modeling
  • Experience in an FP&A corporate environment at a publicly-traded company or at an investment bank
  • Experience with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel

Preferred

  • Prior experience supporting Go-to-Market (GTM) teams
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to develop strategic recommendations
  • Ability to influence leadership with excellence in verbal and written communications
  • Ability to work independently, think objectively, and provide meaningful and insightful narratives based on both quantitative as well as qualitative data
  • Collaborative team player with a desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Strong financial acumen with proficiency in accounting principles and corporate finance valuation concepts
  • Experience with financial and ERP systems such as Oracle or Adaptive Planning

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

California: $101,500.00 - $156,750.00 base salary
