About the Role: 

Provides assistance to audiologists related to general hearing aid management and care.  Answers phone line dedicated to audiology patients.  Independently manages patient needs related to basic hearing aid care, scheduling appointments, and ordering hearing aid supplies.  This role also supports front office staffing. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Prepare rooms and equipment for audiology procedures. 

  • Greet and prepare patients for testing. 

  • Perform hearing screenings and tympanometry as directed. 

  • Assist with earmold impressions and hearing aid fittings. 

  • Clean, check, and troubleshoot hearing aids and related devices. 

  • Perform data entry, chart preparation, and scanning of patient documents. 

  • Support audiologists in managing hearing aid inventory and supplies. 

  • Provide patient education on hearing aid use and care. 

  • Schedule appointments and handle follow-up communications. 

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. 

As with any dynamic clinical setting, responsibilities may evolve to meet the changing needs of the clinic and support overall team success. 

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred. 

  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting or audiology practice is a plus. 

  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills. 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain patient confidentiality.

Work Environment & Physical Expectations: 

 

  • On-site, clinical office setting. 

  • Monday–Friday, daytime schedule; occasional after-hours meetings may be required. 

  • Ability to sit for extended periods, move throughout the office as needed, and perform light lifting; manual dexterity required for frequent computer and phone use.
