Marketing Specialist

Overview

FedWriters is building a team to provide OCPA Operations Support, Communication Research, Analysis and Evaluation, Communication Planning, Communication Product Development, Army Outreach Support, Professional Development and Training, Exhibit Management, and Executive Communication Support. As a Marketing Specialist you will develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance Army messaging and support public affairs initiatives across multiple platforms.

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

 

 

Work Schedule and Location:

On-Site: Full-time position with standard hours of 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST Monday-Friday, plus evening coverage (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST weekdays) and weekend coverage (Friday starting at 11:00 PM continuing thru all of Saturday and ending on Sunday 7:00 PM EST).

Responsibilities

• Support Army outreach efforts
• Provide weekend media monitoring
• Generate media alerts/updates
• Support communication products
• Assist outreach event planning
• Support marketing initiatives
• Weekend coverage duties

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited college/university
• 5 years demonstrated strategic/tactical/media communication experience within last 10 years
