Project manager

Are you a proactive and adaptable Project Manager ready to take ownership of diverse projects from start to finish? We’re looking for a dynamic individual with a strong sense of independence and a proven track record of project management and change management, managing projects and change using a variety of methodologies and tools.

Your Role:

As a Project Manager at Embla Medical, you’ll lead cross-functional teams, ensure timely delivery, and drive results across multiple initiatives. You’ll be empowered to choose the best approach for each project, depending on project fit.

Our Global Program Management Office (GPMO) runs diverse global projects that support the company's strategy and growth. The department work is cross-functional and involves frequent communication with various departments and stakeholders within the company.

Your tasks:

• Manage global and strategic projects according to our project lifecycle.
• Plan, execute, and close projects according to deadlines and within budget.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors.
• Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and adjust as needed.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure quality standards and client satisfaction are met.
• Apply applicable methods to projects to best secure successful delivery.
• Lead and interact with colleagues across departments and divisions.
• Provide support to project sponsor and people leaders in change management activities, leading project teams and stakeholders through change.
• Take on other tasks and responsibilities to secure successful project delivery.

Who are You

• At least 3 years of experience in project management across relevant industries.
• Bachelor/University degree in the field of project management, business administration, engineering or equivalent. 
• Proven ability to manage multiple cross functional projects independently, where both business and IT are involved.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
• Proficiency with project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written.
• PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2, Scrum, Prosci ADKAR or similar certification is a plus.
