Description
Turnwell Mental Health is a clinician-led, integrated mental health company with a mission to expand access to high-quality care in underserved markets. We have a presence in multiple states and are growing nationally. We partner with established practices and provide administrative support to mental health providers (Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Assistants, Therapists, etc.). This support includes human resources, IT, legal, operational, marketing, real estate, and finance expertise to enable practitioners to focus on what matters most: patient care.
This position will reside in the Dallas corporate office 3 days a week (Monday-Wednesday) and 2 days remotely
Job Summary: The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for providing HR support for several mental health clinics in multiple states. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS administration, payroll administration comp/benefits and employment law compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with HR Director to develop and implement processes and programs to increase employee retention, overall job satisfaction, and development of positive morale.
· Assist with HRIS capacity development and training with managers
· HRIS/Payroll management and administration (Paylocity) including processing payroll and analytical reporting
· Manage day to day employee inquires through centralized HR inbox
· Conduct investigations, recommend resolutions, and facilitate conflict resolution processes
· Assist in implementation and automation of performance management processes
· Manage, track, and ensure completion of mandatory annual training in compliance with state-specific requirements.
· Manage confidential files for each employee. Manage internal and departmental audit process of HR documentation including I-9s, background checks, W-2, etc.
· Compensation/Benefits management and administration: ensuring compliance with EEOC, FMLA, ERISA, FLSA, DOL, ADA and unemployment claims
· Provide administrative support in the integration process of new clinics
Requirements
- B.S. in HR Management, Healthcare Administration or related degree.
- 4 years in Human Resources, minimum 2 years as a Generalist or Manager.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, PHR
- Strong understanding of federal and multiple state employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for analytic reporting
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems, Paylocity) including analytic reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Keen attention to detail and highly developed organizational skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-4 years’ experience supporting multiple healthcare organizations, mental/behavioral health in a corporate setting
- Experience in supporting a dynamic organization with acquisitions
