THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

As a Marketing & Content Strategy, Senior Manager, you will oversee a team who is responsible for strategic messaging, planning and implementation across a range of SF housing finance policies, products, and initiatives.  The Marketing Strategy, Senior Manager role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside colleagues driven by our Enterprise mission to facilitate equitable and sustainable access to homeownership.

The Marketing & Content Strategy, Senior Manager role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Manage B2B value proposition, messaging and corresponding insights on behalf of Single-Family business segment, working in close collaboration with co-development, marketing research, marketing strategy and product teams.
  • Responsible for leading a comprehensive SF messaging strategy, grounded in research and insights, to guide the intentional creation and maintenance of marketing content and claims development across owned, earned and targeted channels.
  • Collaborate with marketers, copywriters and program stakeholders to codify affordable housing, capital markets, credit risk management, digital products, ESG, risk collateral, technology and other trends that impact housing finance.
  • Serve as horizontal B2B marketing translator between technical and non-technical teams to help connect mortgage policies, products and programs to structure and deliver compelling storytelling that drives loyalty and strong brand preference, while also driving measurable marketing results tied to business outcomes.   
  • Partner closely with SF marketing strategy leads to drive alignment of SF messaging strategy and cross-channel execution.
  • Build meaningful relationships internally to keep a pulse on key audiences, including sellers, servicers, technology service providers and partner ecosystem needs.
  • Familiar with creating structured storytelling and filling content gaps to help influence marketing strategies that ultimately support outreach efforts across SF owned properties, such as web, email, digital/ social, speaker preparation and talking points, blogs, etc.
  • Clearly translate SF business needs into marketing requirements and/or use cases for marketing strategists and technical partners to consistently apply approved messaging.
  • Foster strong working relationship within department and beyond, including key product and program teams, as well legal, marketing technology, creative, external communications/ PR privacy and fair lending.
  • Support documentation and communication of messaging recommendations, grounded in key segment insights to improve launch and outreach strategies that resonate with intended audiences.
  • Collaborate with peers to assess results and foster growth / learning to ensure continuous improvement of marketing efforts that ladder up to key business priorities.
  • Motivate agency partners to deliver high performing marketing messaging and strategic frameworks in a timely manner, and within budget parameters.
  • Provide guidance to the team who researches and identifies changes in the marketing environment or competitive strategies and evaluates, adjusts, or redrafts the organization's marketing plan and philosophy.
  • Assess and report on the development and implementation of marketing plans to serve the business objectives.
  • Inform the team of changes in the marketing environment and identify areas to conduct market research or leverage data and analysis to develop an informed POV on content strategy needs.
  • Review the work of the team who create and convey brand messages to improve awareness and increase customer engagement, usage and adoption.
