Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 / year


Description

We currently have a position available for a full-time, exempt, Client Services Project Manager. This position is based out of the Flushing, NYC main office and will be on-site at minimum 4 days per week. 

As Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to support our team of highly experienced audit professionals in delivering best-in-class service to our clients in China and U.S. 

Reporting to the Managing Partner and Director of Quality Controls, this role is instrumental in helping the firm accelerate our efforts in amplifying Audit Quality and Quality control management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing audits throughout multiple locations with varying deadlines – including supervision of status, project time changes, competing demands and priorities as well as determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk using appropriate analytics.
  • Working with the Managing Partner on the annual project planning process and coordinating with HR, Finance, Operations, and client service teams to update forecasts and other periodic projections.
  • Partnering with engagement partners, Managing partner, etc to understand any needed tools, solutions, or staffing resources for current or upcoming work to resolve any challenges in a timely manner to ensure continuous workflow of project objectives.
  • Reviewing and analyzing weekly and monthly budget to actual reporting to ensure the appropriate staff allocations and service delivery are in-line with the contracted scope of work.
  • Liaising with Finance and Operations teams on behalf of the Client Service professionals to ensure that appropriate client onboarding processes are completed (i.e., engagement letters/addendums, time and expense codes, client dashboard setup, etc.) and that key financial reporting is provided regularly for client teams to adjust accordingly.
  • Managing the independent confirmations, CPE requirements and compliance to the state requirements of audit professionals.
  • Actively seeking and executing opportunities to improve existing project management processes through automation or other means.
  • Supporting external consultants/lawyers and third parties (consultants, outsourcing) to manage relationships, IT sharing, .
  • Manage project scope, time and budget, ensuring high quality project deliverables.
  • Effectively manage program finances.
  • Promote continuous project management process improvement.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or similar field.
  • 5-8 years of progressive project management experience in fast-paced environment for accounting or other professional services industries required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience in use of project management software, sharing/collaborating files/tools/data repositories and understanding of IT a strong plus.
  • Advanced proficiency with project management and analytics tools.
