Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking Versatile Technologists to support the Information Technology team in Hazelwood, Missouri! This role will support the Advanced Composites Center (ACC). The Aerospace Composites Center has state-of-the-art enabled capabilities and operates to support Boeing’s Fighter Programs. The successful candidate will support modernization and sustainment activities of ACC IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and SaaS platforms.

Position Responsibilities:

• Identifies computing requirements and confers on system needs
• Performs a multidisciplined range of technical systems and application activities
• Installs, configures and maintains multiplatform systems hardware, software and components
• Develops, designs, integrates and maintains all computer applications
• Prepares release planning for software and hardware across the system
• Ensures system conforms with architectural objectives
• Evaluates complex system's production readiness and supportability
• Performs the restoration of routine to complex computing service operations
• Integrates security solutions into information systems
• Other duties as assigned, such as I.E, help desk second level, special projects

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years’ experience administering hardware, software, and network systems

• Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server
• Experience with two or more of the following platforms: VMware vSphere, Cisco Networking, Microsoft Exchange Server, Palo Alto Firewalls, Dell Networker
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language for diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree (A technical degree is defined as any four-year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)
• Experience with Dell storage products including Unity, DataDomain, and PowerVault product lines
• Experience with project management
• Experience with Solarwinds HCO
• One or more of the following certifications: Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, VMware VCP

Additional Information:

This role may be required to work evenings, nights, and weekends, as needed.

Summary pay range: $76,500 – $91,500
