Responsibilities

• Design the architecture with the goal of making our products better, faster, and scalable, with the ultimate goal of creating high-quality products that meet customer needs. 

• Deliver clean, maintainable and error-proof code with good test coverage.

• Take end-to-end ownership, from design/development to production.

• Be the internal expert on all things Python, working shoulder to shoulder with our Product owners, Backend / Data Engineers and Data Analysts.

• Meet goal commitments and deadlines.

Your Skills and Experience

• Excellent SQL knowledge.

• Over 5 years of software development experience within a professional setting.

• Proven expertise with Python in a backend and data engineering role.

• Great Software architecture and design knowledge, Clean Code.

• Experience with RDBMS, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes and NoSQL.

• Proven experience with AWS or GCP or other Cloud platforms.

• Experience with API development / usage (REST).

• Good command of written and spoken English.
