Role Summary/Purpose:
The VP, Employer Brand and Recruitment Marketing is an individual contributor responsible for leading the evolution of our employer brand including ownership of the recruitment marketing strategy critical to attraction and retention of great talent. This role will report to the SVP, Employee Experience and works in close partnership with various internal teams including talent acquisition, talent management, early career programming, brand and internal communications.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop measurable media communication plans for our employer brand and recruitment marketing campaigns, leveraging a variety of approved channels – both digital and traditional
- Track and optimize recruitment campaigns, while providing performance analytics, data insights and communicate recommendations to key stakeholders
- Develop and manage content for company career sites (internal and external), candidate communications and create target audience recommendations
- Oversee, author and/or constructively edit and review media documents (timelines, POVs, plans, agreements, memos, and correspondence from within and outside the Synchrony Recruiting team and assorted agencies)
- Liaise with external media agencies and organizational partners as needed to represent and collaborate on media planning and execution in our employer markets.
- Manage vendor partnerships to ensure deliverables are met
- Manage the scheduling, posting, tracking and compiling of weekly performance reports
- Act as business owner and procedure owner for multiple applications (iCims, Workday, Smashfly, etc), procedures and governance standards relative to employer brand.
- Participate in testing or introduction of new or changing technology enabled processes with a lens of hiring manager and/or candidate experience.
- Develop and implement a social content strategy, including content identification and copy, for HR Executives leveraging strong program management principles
- Partner with internal communications team and various internal key stakeholders to collaborate and cross promote key business priorities on a monthly basis.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism or Communications or related field, or in lieu of a degree, 8+ years’ experience in employer brand marketing and social content creation on behalf of executive team members
- 5+ years’ in employer brand, media planning and storytelling
- 5+ years’ of copywriting experience supporting internal clients at the executive level
- 3+ years’ experience in communications planning roles at agency or within a client organization
- 3+ years’ project management experience
- Willingness to travel (4X per year) and flex schedule to accommodate time zone differences of key stakeholders within US and India.
Desired Characteristics:
- Demonstrated knowledge of talent acquisition and processes relevant for successful prospecting or recruiting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clear copy for social campaigns and messaging relevant to target audience
- Proven knowledge of current trends and innovation in media, tracking, analytics and research
- Demonstrated experience working on high visibility consumer and/or tech brands developing and executing multimedia campaigns
- Previous experience developing executive content strategy within Human Resources
- Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and evolving deliverables
- Experience working with creative teams to develop materials and ensuring they are within brand standards
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, along with ability to work collaboratively and influence in a matrixed environment
- Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, and at times ambiguous environment
- Creative agency experience
