How you make a difference

Sr. Manager, End User Computing – Leading Technology Lifecycle & IT Asset Strategy

 

Are you a tech-savvy leader who thrives on optimizing end-user experiences? As the Sr. Manager of End User Computing, you’ll oversee the entire equipment lifecycle, ensuring seamless discovery, planning, and deployment for new contracts and refresh projects.

 

In this role, you’ll lead a team dedicated to standardizing and maintaining desktop equipment, ensuring that all devices are consistently configured, up-to-date, and aligned with company policies. You’ll also oversee IT Asset Management, managing procurement, stocking, and inventory to ensure the right technology is in place when and where it’s needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Endpoint Administration & Support: Administers and supports end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Device Management & Deployment: Manages device provisioning, imaging, and deployment using tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or similar endpoint management solutions.
  • Security & Compliance: Implements and enforces endpoint security policies, including encryption, antivirus, and multi-factor authentication (MFA), while ensuring compliance with software updates and patches.
  • Technical Support & Issue Resolution: Provides Tier 2/3 support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues, diagnosing and resolving technical problems related to operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
  • IT Service Improvement & Documentation: Works closely with IT teams to enhance end-user computing solutions, while developing and maintaining documentation, FAQs, and training materials for user self-service.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in related area from an accredited college or university.

Experience:

  • Required: Seven (7) years of experience in end-user computing administration, IT support, or desktop management.
  • Required: Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, Active Directory, and enterprise mobility solutions.
  • Required: Experience with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, JAMF, or equivalent.
  • Required: Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and service desk operations.
  • Required: Proven record of success managing projects to successful completion.
