POSITION TITLE

Advanced Web Specialist, Digital Marketing

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

Milliken is seeking a Advanced Web Specialist to join the Digital Team within Milliken Marketing Services. Based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the Web Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality, engaging, and accurate content for the website within our SiteCore and WordPress frameworks under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager.

 

We believe in collaboration and are looking for a creative problem solver with a sense of urgency and a focus on the needs of our internal and external customers. This role requires strong collaboration with other members of the Digital Team, and will also require broad collaboration with our business stakeholders. 

 

As the interface between the marketing team and the web, one of the primary roles for the Web Specialist will be turning wireframes of webpages from our designers into SEO-compliant mobile-responsive webpages serving an international market.  Applicants should be comfortable building pages coding HTML, using Bootstrap/CSS for responsive styling.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create compelling customer centric web experiences based on data and customer insights
• Consistently evaluate the customer journey per page and entire site
• Stay updated on the latest front-end technologies
• Implement enhancements to workflows and processes to make repeatable processes more streamline and efficient
• Accountability for tickets assigned in Asana, communicate with the requester, and make the edits in SiteCore and WordPress.
• Make updates and new development to news, blogs and products.
• Update components on pages including image and copy.
• Update content on WordPress sites
• Ensure that all content is optimized for search engines and adheres to SEO best practices.
