As a Staff Accountant at Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including journal entries, fixed asset management, daily cash reconciliation and month end closing processes.

Primary Responsiblities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintains accounting policy and procedure compliance
- Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close processes
- Assists with treasury function, maintains and monitors banking activities
- Uploads and input month end data into corporate reporting system
- Manages month end account reconciliations
- Manages fixed assets
- Backup for Accounts Payable
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Broad financial knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite required (especially Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality required
Requirements Include:
- Due to the specific responsibilities of this position, candidates must be U.S. citizens, without dual citizenship
- Broad general knowledge of all accounting/financial functions
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years of previous accounting/financial experience
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) regulations
- Experience with Government Contracts preferred
- Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable preferred
