Plant Controlling Manager
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Plant Controlling Manager you will take responsibility for providing financial direction and control to the Myerstown Product Supply Consumer Health manufacturing facility. Regularly Challenge cost inputs for financial value and resulting return. Consistently generate ideas and promote sustainable cost savings measures for the site. Manage and ensure compliance of financial information at the manufacturing site by verifying both balance sheet and income statement entries for accuracy. Responsible for annual budgeting, development of unit standard product costs, monthly / quarterly / annual reporting, variance analysis and financial commentary. Serve as a member of the Site Leadership Team and develop controlling team.
The primary responsibilities of this role, Plant Controlling Manager, are to:
• Quickly adapt to changes and drive solutions forward such as; efficiencies from digitization, increases / decreases to site production demands, or updates to global and local processes. Proactively quantify their impact to the site and partner with Site Leadership Team to drive the change forward;
• Provide input relative to financial management and control of operations. Coordinates with other departments to most effectively and efficiently support and complement the plant and manufacturing operations and mission by providing financial commentary, trend analysis, and variance reporting and review;
• Support PS CH management in the establishment and monitoring of standard costs for all productsmanufactured at the production site. This includes conversion costs, material development (such as loss factors or purchase price), and other related operating costs. Support proper breakdown of target costs and reconcile with bottom-up planning on local site. Ensure correct assignment of planned variances according to global distribution rules. Provide standard costs and rates in accordance with the management and manufacture of their respective products;
• Provide leadership for and support to the development and implementation of cost saving initiatives and objectives in cooperation with the Site Management Team. Actively drive an OE culture within the site and promote and support respective initiatives;
• Provide direction and management for each section within Plant Controlling (General Accounting, Capital Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Control), as appropriate, in accordance with Central and Divisional policies, as well as within generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS-IAS). Ensure proper monitoring of production deviations and provide information to continuously improve the production process as well as ensure that regular production costs are capitalized by the accounting organization;
• Participate with production, production planning, technical services, quality, and engineering departments to continually improve productivity and profitability through the assessment of the financial impacts of new products,transfer in/out of products and services, feasibility studies, and the installation of new equipment and/or processes for the manufacture, engineering, and distribution of products;
• Audit and provide financial support to management by analyzing and monitoring programs, processes and trends related to the facility and operations. Regularly reports to functional management regarding variances and control issues. Represents management in financial matters with Product Supply Managemen;
• Ensure compliance with audit and control function with/through Division and Central Accounting, Finance and independent auditors;
• Actively manage and develop local controlling team. Set high but reachable standards in a continuous improvement spirit.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting Degree required;
• Thorough understanding of the manufacturing process;
