Job Description

As a Security Professional - Tech Site in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will conduct routine driving patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious persons, activities, or hazards encountered during patrols within the tech, media, and telecom environment.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and general information while maintaining a welcoming presence.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and other personnel to address site-specific needs and concerns as they arise.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and security-related matters as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license in the job state is required and must meet with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
