Advanced Interface Development Engineer (Entry-Level)

About our group:

Develop Storage for the Cloud.  The Advanced Interface Development team is looking for a talented engineer to work on our next generation design.  This position will be located in Longmont, CO, and reports into the VLSI development organization. 

About the role - you will:

The person holding this position will have multiple responsibilities requiring specific skills, including:

• Design verification and debug, design, synthesis, static timing analysis, or design modeling.
• Working in Verilog/System Verilog focusing on verification efforts.
• Our activities are accomplished by a diverse cross-functional team and therefore require the candidate to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About you:

• Experience with scripting/programming languages, preferably one of the following: Perl, TCL, C++.
• Understanding of logic design concepts using hardware design languages.
• Internship or coursework experience in advanced verification theories using System Verilog, VMM, or UVM.

Your experience includes:

• Knowledge of Interface protocols: Ex. PCIe, NVMe, SATA, or SAS
• Experience running hardware design language simulators, synthesis, and static timing analysis.
• Master’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.

Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base salary range for this position: $70,761.60 – $101,198.00. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
