Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Neurology
Advocate Health | Palos Heights, IL
Join a busy outpatient-only neurology practice working alongside 8 neurologists and an experienced Advanced Practice Provider in a collaborative, team-based environment that offers both autonomy and continuity of care.
The APP will work closely with subspecialty neurologists while maintaining an active role in improving access to high-quality outpatient neurological care. Travel to multiple outpatient clinic locations may be required based on practice needs and patient care demands.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 8 hour shifts
- No inpatient responsibilities or call requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage follow-up neurology patients under established clinical protocols
- Perform focused neurological histories and examinations, assessing ongoing disease progression
- Manage chronic neurologic conditions with a focus in:
- Neuromuscular
- Movement Disorders
- Order, review, and interpret routin
