Data Science Analyst

Tiger Analytics is seeking a Data Science Analyst to join our team in Evansville, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the data and analytics space, with a strong grasp of data analysis, business analysis, and requirement gathering. Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business problems and develop actionable analytical models.
• Design and execute quantitative analysis, including statistical modeling and forecasting.
• Prepare clear visualizations and reports to communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
• Support the development of dashboards and KPIs to monitor business performance.
• Contribute to a culture of data-driven decision making across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics and business analysis.
• Proficient in tools such as SQL, Python, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with requirement gathering and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Prior experience in the CPG industry is a strong plus.
