Job Description
The Consumer Sales Assurance Manager is responsible for independently evaluating the delivery of products and services by Consumer Banking employees to ensure alignment with ethical and consultative sales practices. This role assesses reputational, financial, and compliance risks, and develops accurate, timely reporting to measure adherence to sales standards and ethical guidelines. The manager synthesizes findings and presents strategic recommendations to senior leadership to mitigate risk, enhance the client experience, and support profitability. Success in this role requires advanced analytical thinking, sound judgment, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

How You'll Spend Your Time
- You will conduct in-depth analysis and oversight of incentive and campaign compliance for Consumer Delivery and Business Banking.
- You will develop and manage Power BI dashboards and SQL queries to monitor compliance and assess sales-related risks.
- You will maintain awareness of sales culture standards, training content, and regulatory updates to ensure ethical practices.
- You will investigate sales practices, perform root cause analyses, and collaborate with HR on employee-related matters.
- You will prepare and present monthly reports to senior leadership and risk partners with insights on sales assurance performance.
- You will provide actionable recommendations to leadership based on investigative findings to support compliant sales behavior.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Technology/Science, or a related field and 7+ years’ experience in retail banking sales, incentive management, and quality assurance; or minimum of 10+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Thorough knowledge of Consumer Banking, including regulations, financial products, operations and the delivery of products and services
- Excellent analytical, root cause identification, and problem-solving skills, with strong aptitude to collect and analyze information and make appropriate recommendations to senior leaders in a timely fashion
- Proficient knowledge of fraud processes, industry trends, and risk prevention methods
- Advanced PC skills including Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL query tools
- Ability to create various complex SQL scripts to render comprehensive, in-depth analysis
