Architect

(The position is based in Kolonaki, Athens)

Requirements

• University Degree in Architectural Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge of industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, Additional 3D skills considered as a plus
• Strong knowledge of computer applications, especially Microsoft Office
• Strong financial thinking/analysis for drafting construction project budgets
• Knowledge of fire protection regulations is desirable
• Experience in production of Construction documents (Detailed Design stage) is a plus
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork & strong organizational skills

Main Responsibilities

• Manages a broad range of activities associated with pre-design, design, pre-construction, construction (including all phasing), renovations and modernization projects.
• Prepare architectural drawings in CAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other engineering department staff to verify form, fit and function of the technical solutions, applied design.
• Review project designs to meet local building codes and contractual requirements.
• Develop & review project design schedules.
• Site supervision and coordination with all the technical parties involved in the project.
• Maintain all relevant documentation and logging of drawing references.
• Manage relationships and communications with clients, vendors and contractors including design and construction project meetings.
• Review of passive fire protection drawings.
