We are currently adding a Sr. Manager, Operations Finance to our North America Finance team. This role is a key player in driving our business forward by ensuring the financial stability and operational efficiency of our manufacturing facilities making sure Huhtamaki meets its strategic objectives. This senior-level role reports directly to the SVP Finance while also responsible as a finance business partner supporting the SVP Operations and an active participant in the Operations leadership team.

About the Job

The major responsibility of this position is to work with the Heads of Technology and SVP of Operations to develop, plan and monitor the goals, objectives, and strategies of the manufacturing and warehouse facilities within North America. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining a process for identifying, measuring, analyzing, preparing, interpreting, and communicating financial information to be used to plan, evaluate, and control the Company’s resources. These responsibilities require the position to work effectively with other senior management and with the plant management at facilities within Huhtamaki North America.

The preferred location for this role is in DeSoto, Kansas (Greater Kansas City metropolitan area) working in a hybrid work environment.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Active participant in the Operations Leadership Team contributing to building and executing on Operational Excellence strategies.
2.    Support the World Class Operations system of continuous improvement and zero loss ambition by contributing to identifying areas of opportunity, defining, tracking and reporting KPIs, project valuation and financial results
3.    Collaborate across North America and globally to continuously improve support structure and linkage between financial results, impact of improvement efforts and operational performance and the digitalization of these processes
4.    Prepare timely and accurate monthly operations reports to support the needs of the Heads of Technology and in line with the North America business requirements. 
5.    Manage and develop team of Finance resources broadly supporting Operations
