Data Analyst, Ops Analytics

As a Data Analyst (L5) within Gopuff's Ops Analytics team, you will hold a crucial position in creating and maintaining data insights dashboards. Additionally, you will utilize fundamental data languages like SQL and LookML to develop new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and models. Your work will directly impact operational decisions and contribute to driving the business forward. Resonsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights and visualizations.
• Develop and maintain data insights dashboards using the Looker Business Intelligence (BI) tool.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data used in dashboards through regular data validation and quality checks.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide timely reports and analysis.
• Continuously improve existing dashboards by incorporating user feedback and enhancing the visualization of key metrics.
• Stay up-to-date with organizational priorities to craft data insights that best track progress and inform decision-making.
• Build a solid understanding of Gopuff operations to effectively analyze and provide insights specific to the business.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in analyzing, interpreting, and taking action on data to drive business outcomes.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets and MS Excel, including formulas, functions, and data manipulation techniques.
• Experience creating dashboards and visualizations using Looker or a similar BI tool.
• An aptitude for learning SQL and LookML for daily data analysis tasks (some existing familiarity with these languages is preferred but not required).Familiarity with Gopuff operations is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present complex data analysis findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for translating data into actionable insights.
