Warehouse Associate

Description

• Ensure Bacon facilities are kept clean and safe at all times; areas include building, scrap yard, and waste disposal area. 
• Responsible for basic janitorial needs, such as disposing trash, refilling supplies (toilet paper, paper towels and soap). Cleaning spills and broken glass as soon as possible. 
• Maintains the warehouse work area and equipment clean and in good working condition. Follows safety regulations. 
• Assists in loading and unloading trucks. 
• Unpacks and examines material. Rejects damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with vendor to rectify damages or shortages. 
• Responsible for keeping inventory stocked and inventory count current. 
• Responsible for pulling orders as needed
• Performs all computer functions necessary to complete job

Requirements

• Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean Driving Record
• Must pass a background check 
• Licensed forklift operator, minimum of 1 year forklift experience
• Physical demands include frequently lifting and moving items up to 50+lbs. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.
