Job Description

This role combines knowledge of legacy systems and architectures, cloud native application architecture, development skills, team leadership and strong business acumen to help clients modernize their application portfolios.

• Work with business leaders to solve business problems through the adoption of cloud native technology and building an Application Modernization Roadmap for the future
• Develop solutions by understanding, preparing, and analyzing data to understand opportunities for technology adoption within the client’s application portfolio and provide recommendations to optimize business results
• Utilize consulting assets to collect application portfolio data and create insights to define transformation paths for their application portfolio. The methods used will continuously update the data on the application portfolio as well as the client priorities and strategies used in the modeling to create the Application Modernization Roadmap.
• Analyze and assess existing client application portfolios; shape and deliver appropriate modernization pattern-based solutions including the creation of client modernization roadmaps
• Modernize enterprise business applications to use Event Driven and Micro-Service Architectures, Serverless, Containers, Container Orchestration Platforms, and the best managed platforms for databases, messaging and security.

Qualifications

• Consulting
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams, mentoring developers and designing cloud native software architectures
  • Experience supporting sales and presenting in front of enterprise clients
  • Experience in high level application portfolio analysis and discovery to determine application modernization paths
• Technical
  • Expert level understanding of either .NET or Java and its use in legacy enterprise environments.
  • Experience in refactoring legacy monolithic applications to leverage public cloud platforms, serverless and containers.
