Analyst, Capital Markets
JLL is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join the Investment Sales Advisory Team within JLL Capital Markets as an Analyst. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing strategic real estate solutions to clients, conducting market research, and assisting in financial analysis. This Analyst role will concentrate on the land and development services platform with critical involvement in every stage of a transaction, including tracking potential opportunities and market information, financial underwriting, preparation of client proposals and offering memorandums, market research, term sheet and LOI negotiation, due diligence, and closing in a high-energy, team-focused environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and market trends for commercial real estate transactions, including research, financial modeling and composition of executive summaries.
- Prepare financial models, valuations, and feasibility studies.
- Understand and review real estate documents (leases, loan documents, appraisals, etc.)
- Responsible for complex financial modeling of commercial real estate transactions utilizing market and JLL data / comps to correctly underwrite a transaction.
- Prepare pitch decks (“BOVs”), investment sales advisory packages and submissions for commercial real estate transactions, including research, financial modeling and composition of executive summaries.
- Aggregate and share critical market information and public policies impacting new development opportunities.
- Maintain key land and development databases tracking potential opportunities, deals on market, and comparable sales.
- Maintain detailed permit and fee analysis for major Colorado cities/counties.
- Collaborate with the team to develop comprehensive client presentations, investment proposals, client packages and develop and recommend financing alternatives.
- Assist in the due diligence, marketing and closing processes for each transaction.
- Stay informed about industry developments, regulations, and market conditions to provide up-to-date insights and recommendations.
- Perform CRM, database management and other work supporting the production team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information.
- Ability to be an independent self-starter with a team player attitude.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient with technology to quickly learn new platforms and databases.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Knowledge of capital markets and real estate investment principles. Must understand real estate documents (leases, loan documents, appraisals, etc.)
- Strong writing skills with ability to communicate analytical and marketing data effectively.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of previous experience in a financial analyst role, preferably within the real estate or capital markets industry.
- Intermediate experience with Excel required, working knowledge of Outlook and PowerPoint.

- This role is in-office based and is located in Downtown Denver, Colorado.

Estimated compensation for this position:
65,000.00 – 95,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
