The Fanatics Accounting Shared Service organization is searching for a Senior Analyst, Accounting Shared Services to join the Service Delivery Optimization Team (SDOT). The key purpose of the Service Delivery Optimization Team is to support the Accounting Shared Services Department in developing and executing the best-in-class processes to enable the organization to scale and improve in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. This dynamic candidate is curious and passionate about driving improved efficiency and service-delivery, while prioritizing controls compliance. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in the design and execution of accounting processes being transitioned into the newly formed Accounting Shared Services Department at Fanatics. He/she/they will serve the unique role of supporting the Senior Manager and Director of SDOT in the planning, organization, and execution of multiple Transformation Initiative across all Account Shared Services areas and all Verticals (Holdings, Commerce, Collectibles, and Gaming).
This position provides wide exposure across the organization, as this person will also work closely with Controllership Accounting Teams across all Verticals, as well as Tech, SOX, Internal Audit, and other Transformation Teams. The ideal candidate must have a collaborative, professional, and service-oriented approach to interacting with teammates and business partners.
Responsibilities:•Work closely with the Senior Manager to develop templates, models, macros, SOPs, resource guides, job aides and other tools to help all Accounting Shared Services Teams optimize their accounting processes. •Identify, track, and dashboard key metrics (KPIs) to measure and monitor the impact of Transformation Initiatives and to identify areas where Transformation Initiatives are needed.•Build strong relationships across all Accounting Shared Services and Vertical Controllership teams, to serve as a trusted resource to support the adoption of newly established or modified processes.•Collaborate with the Senior(s) of Enterprise Transformation Team(s) on execution of digital initiatives as they related to Accounting Shared Services. •Collaborate with the teams within the Holdings Group and Business Verticals on the execution of change management and process improvement projects. •Participate in discussions re: business process changes with the Shared Services Team and cross-functional business partners at Verticals.•Leverage best practices, industry standards, methodologies, and frameworks to define and execute on the transformation vision and strategy.
Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field.•3+ years of accounting experience in financial/accounting operations, internal controls, audit remediation, or audit. •Must have expert skills in Excel.•Proficiency in SmartSheets, D365, and/or Oracle Fusion strongly preferred.•Previous experience process mapping, process re-engineering and developing standard operating procedures a plus.•Must have strong analytical skills. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Ability to handle multiple tasks and stringent deadlines within a fast-paced environment.•Ability to effectively work with multiple departments and levels within the organization.•Strong attention to detail.•PMP, MBA and/or CPA is a plus.•Strong analytical and problem-solving skil
