Job Description
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Administrative Assistant 3, Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program, School of Integrated Health Sciences [R0148818].
ROLE of the POSITION
This Administrative Assistant 3 position is for the Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program in the School of Integrated Health Sciences. The successful candidate will report to the Program Director and assist with managing the day-to-day operations for the Occupational Therapy program. This includes receiving/screening incoming telephone calls, greeting visitors and students, handling departmental correspondence, maintaining all program files, overseeing all inventoried equipment/supplies, managing departmental office supplies, managing all accreditation documentation, monitoring/reviewing all department expenditures and revenue and reconciling budget discrepancies, processing spend authorizations/expense reports for faculty, processing monthly bills, managing all purchase orders for the department, tracking course fee revenues and expenses, scheduling all courses each semester, proctoring exams as needed, assisting with admissions and recruitment, scheduling information sessions and student advisement, and assisting in the planning, coordination of special department activities as needed, including interview days, orientation, graduation, award ceremonies, Community Advisory Board meetings, Recruitment events, etc.
This position is not eligible for remote work; this is an On-Campus position at the UNLV Medical District, 1001 Shadow Lane. Work schedule is Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
